Fiscal Officer Lindsay Pollock - 
Fiscal Officer Lindsay Pollock was elected in November 2023 after working in industry for over 20 years. She is an inactive CPA who performed various accounting and finance roles throughout her career. Her Term is April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2028. Carly Sayre Trustee - Carly Sayre, newly elected in 2025, is a 2003 graduate from Newbury High School and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Slippery Rock University in 2007. While attending Slippery Rock University, she was a tutor, Pepsi intern, and RA (resident assistant).
She has worked with several international organizations in administrative, marketing, operation and sales functions. She relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2009 while working for Novelis, the world’s largest aluminum sheet provider. In 2016, she since then relocated to Michigan to continue working in the Automotive sector for a Japanese Tier 1 OEM Supplier. Finally, moving back to her hometown of Newbury in 2021 to raise her family.
Dedicated to the improvement of her community, Carly has volunteered with local organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Canton, (while she lived in Michigan) as the club President from 2020-2023, for the West Geauga Rec Council, as both a volleyball and basketball coach, and for the Lindsey Elementary PTO as the lead for their fundraiser, “Laps for Lindsey,” which brought in over $25,000.
Carly has resided in Newbury since 2021 with her fiancé Sean Thomas, and twin son and daughter Declan, and Taryn. The family enjoys playing sports year-round, traveling when possible, and anything outdoors.
Carly wants to provide transparent communication, fiscally responsible decision making, leaner and efficient processes, and a fresh new outlook on the future of Newbury. She looks forward to serving the hard working residents of this community.
