Dave Lair

Chairwoman Jan Blair, retired from General Electric, was elected in 2006. She is board liaison for employee relations, which includes insurance and workers’ compensation. She is also liaison for the park board and community relations. She works with the Community Improvement Corporation and the Geauga County Community Development office to move the township’s economic development program forward. William Skomrock Jr., DistTech Inc. safety director, served as a trustee from 1998 through 2001 and was elected again in 2006. He is vice chairman of the board and his liaison responsibilities include cemeteries, NIMS, drug enforcement officer and town hall. He is also backup liaison for the fire and road departments. David Snively, retired from British Petroleum, was elected in 2008. Fiscal Officer Dave Lair also serves as the current Geauga County Administrator and has been responsible for the township’s financials since January, 1988.
